Who We Are:

  • Cornell University Veterinary Specialists (CUVS) is a specialty and emergency veterinary center located in Stamford, CT.   • A VECCS Level 1 multispecialty and emergency hospital with a collaborative approach to medicine and a culture that cares about top notch patient care, service, and your professional growth.

  • A robust ECC service with five criticalists, six ER doctors, five residents, and multiple veterinary technician specialists (VTS).

  • The ECC team is supported by a comprehensive array of specialty services, including surgery, internal medicine, cardiology, diagnostic imaging, oncology, ophthalmology, dentistry-oral surgery and anesthesiology.

What You’ll Do:

  • Monitor patient progress while caring for hospitalized cats and dogs.

  • Provide nursing care, husbandry and treatments for hospitalized patients.

  • Perform patient assessments and partner with our doctors to provide exceptional patient care.

  • Perform advanced technical procedures.

  • Support a team-oriented approach to patient care during overnight hours.
